Leadership in Recovery: Celebrating Dee’s Place Peer Specialist Graduates

Earlier this month, Dee’s Place Wellness & Recovery Center proudly celebrated the graduation of four dedicated individuals from its Peer Recovery Specialist Training Program. These graduates have completed an intensive and transformative journey—equipping them with the tools, knowledge, and heart to support others on the path to recovery.

The Peer Recovery Specialist role is a powerful one—rooted in lived experience, empathy, and service. By completing this training, these graduates are now prepared to stand beside others as advocates, and mentors in the behavioral health and recovery field.

We proudly recognize:

  • Alicia Smith

  • Darrius Queen

  • Patrick Smith

  • Talonia Trent

This accomplishment marks not just a personal milestone for each graduate, but a collective investment in the wellbeing of our communities. Dee’s Place has long been a refuge and resource in East Baltimore, and with each new class of Peer Recovery Specialists, its reach and impact continue to grow.

Please join us in celebrating these incredible individuals and the promise they hold for healing and transformation.
