A key strategy for HEBCAC in fulfilling its mission of improving neighborhoods is community building. In our community building work we bring together people at the block, neighborhood, community, and city levels to effect positive changes within our boundaries.
Our work includes, but not limited to:
- neighborhood clean-ups
- tree plantings
- block celebrations
- public safety initiatives
- vacant lot restorations
- exterior home repair projects
- leadership training
- grant writing assistance
