Housing and Commercial Development
Strengthening neighborhoods
Blighted properties significantly detract from neighborhoods, especially when the number and concentration of those properties is significant. These sites send a negative message about the health of a neighborhood, and contribute to further neighborhood decline. These sites also offer exciting opportunities to jump start reinvestment when they are cretively redeveloped. HEBCAC is currently working on 2 development projects:
Eager Street Housing Project
A 28 unit affordable housing project located Madison East End neighborhood.
Dayspring Square
Redevelopment of the former Public School #37 building located at 1125 N. Patterson Park Avenue.
